Reporting to: Director of Sales
Principal Purpose of Job:
Essentially, a hunter role, you will actively acquire, manage
& service key customer accounts with the objective of
growing the sales volume & profitability. This involves
identifying new business opportunities, relationship management
and resolution of operational issues for key customers.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver against Sales and Revenue Targets
- Identify and clinch new business opportunities
and revenue within assigned industries.
- Develop and present value propositions
and proposals to clients
- Manage and service key customer accounts
- Manage assigned Trade Lane development
Education & Experience:
- Diploma or Degree.
- Knowledge of Freight (Air & Ocean)
distribution.
- Knowledge of Contract Logistics would
be an added advantage but not compulsory.
- Comprehensive understanding of industries
eg.High Tech, Industrial, FMCG, Chemicals or any others
- Minimum 3 years’ in sales in a MNC
setting.
- Solid proven sales track record &
achievement
- Good base of clients to work on immediately
Skills / Competencies:
- Possess strong articulation and presentation
skills
- Positive, passion about work, innovative
in Client approach
- Independent Self-starter and able to adapt
to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Result driven and focus on Corporate Objectives
or given MBOs
- Class 3 driving license and owns a car
