SENIOR / SALES ENGINEER (TRANSMISSION & DISTRIBUTION)

Responsibilities:


1. To identify project : Active participation and identification of prospective project through regular contacts with customer.


2. To liaise with allocated customer for sales acquisition.


3. To follow-up on offers with customers and keep updated project information.


4. To finalise and negotiate on contract with customers with support of Commerical Department.


5. To follow up and keep regular contacts with customers to ensure satisfaction, before and after delivery


6. Be the single face to the customer, i.e. be responsible for a specific customer portfolio and lead, co-ordinate or be aware of, as defined in the Sales Process and Business chapters of the Sales Handbook, any action done towards any customer of his portfolio. This also includes maintaining relationship with customers and relevant players (local country authorities, potential partners, representatives and consultants, financial community, etc.)


7. To obtain intelligence regarding the activities/intentions and strategies of company's competitors, develop extensive knowledge on local prices levels, be well informed about local suppliers/contractors and possible partners and recognise and communicate events and trends that may have an effect on the business.


8. To propose and implement an Individual Sales Plan on his Customer Portfolio in agreement with the Country Sales Director, as defined in the Commerical Strategy.


9. To commit and achieve the order intake budget for overall Transmission & Distribution and eacch Business of his customer portfolio.


10. To commit, plan and achieve actions, linked to the commerical strategy established for each customer, search for new opportunities/solutions with new clients(prospects) in his geographical area or sector of business.


11. To gather any relevant information (commerical and technical environment, price level, competitors, strategy...) for any offer preparation and presentation, follow up and negotiate this offer to get the order with the support of the adequate company's resources, follow up of the order and delivery to communicate any news to the client, as defined in the Sales Handbook.


12. To develop opportunities (mapping of key players, competitors and partners - technical and financial offerings to be promoted, etc...)


13. To have sufficient knowledge of all of Transmission & Development products in order to promote the whole of company's product range for any customer in his customer portfolio.


14. To keep his technical skills up-to-date, update the technical and commerical documentation in the clients' hands and organise the presentation of new products/systems to his customers.


15. To be responsible for SPEAK in order to maintain good communication flows and to edit proper reporting.


16. To support and advise the Businesses in resolving problems during project execution, collaborating with the financial departments of the businesses for instance to facilitate, if neccessary, the payment and release of performance bonds on time.

Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related disciplines.
  • At least 2 years experience in sales for Transmission & Distribution products in the energy industry.
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.

Title : MAINTENANCE CONTRACT MANAGER

BROAD FUNCTION: To manage the day to day operations of the regional service department in order to achieve the required objectives of the company in terms of service quality, efficiency, response time and project profitability.

DUTIES :

  • Follow Automation guidelines and procedures in the follow-up and execution of maintenance and warranty agreements for products and systems in the region.
  • Ensure the proper execution and follow-up of the maintenance contracts in the region.
  • Implement and monitor the customer support tools and reporting procedures to ensure profitable execution of the maintenance contracts.
  • Liaise with our various manufacturing centers around the globe to provide the necessary technical solution to customers’ problems.
  • Set up and improve the service delivery infrastructure in order to implement and deliver 24 x 365 days service support to customers.
  • Perform site testing and commissioning services, diagnosis and reporting, setting studies and training.
  • Provide input to the market and sales team in the preparation of offers and in the promotion of service offerings in the region.
  • Frequent travel in the region is required.

Title : TECHNICAL SERVICE MANAGER

Responsibilities:

  • Provide a significant effect on customer satisfaction results achieved in the customer survey.
  • Support Head of Operations/Service Managers to resolve operational technical issues impacting customers.
  • Analyze operational technical issues and recommend solutions
  • Provide technical expertise in the operational phase of the customer care lifecycle
  • Coordinate with pre/post sales internal teams for technical issues impacting customers
  • Coordinate and manage 3rd party vendors to identify technical issues impacting customer operations
  • Perform network audits to validate data integrity
  • Perform network health checks to identify areas of weakness.
  • Be accountable for all technical issues in customer service.

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Computing Science, Electronic Engineering or Telecommunication
  • Preferably 3-4years experience in Airline / Air Transport industry
  • Hands on experience of at least 2-3years managing a VPN consisting of Routing Protocols: MP-BGP, BGP, IS-IS, OSPF etc
  • Preferably with knowledge in: WAN Protocols: Frame Relay, ATM, SDH/SONET, ISDN etc
  • Remote Access: PPP, L2F VPDN, DDR (ISDN/PSTN/DSL)
  • Others: LAN switching, QoS, IPSEC, VoIP, Wireless etc
  • Process Cisco Certification Qualification ie CCNP/NA, other Networking / IT / Security Certifications are advantages
  • Juniper WX and/or Nortel Contivity experience a plus
  • Have a passion in managing operational technical issues
  • Possess commercial and business awareness
  • Possess good interpersonal and communication skills

Salary : UP TO $100K PER ANNUM

  • Good communication skill in english
  • Sound knowledge of protection relays and control schematics.
  • Knowledge of Autocad /microstation would be added advantage.
