Our client,
a well-established French MNC in the Power Transmission &
Distribution Industry, is seeking a talent to join their Marketing
Team as a Regional Marketing Manager.
Reporting to the Regional Marketing Director
in France, the main missions of this role are local business
intelligence and regional marketing plan. He is also taking
active part into the value creation process and the go-to-market
strategy. Essentially, indepth knowledge about Energy Transmission
& Distribution is important to assume this role as a Regional
Marketing Manager with the good organisation.
The areas of responsibility for this role
shall include:
1. Business Intelligence
The imcumbent will build regional competition
knowledge & analysis, feed central marketing and disseminate
competition knowledge in his region. He will lead the regional
process for Market Assessment by gathering and analyzing regional
market data : TAM, market shares, market price, channel to
market and extract market trends on key indicators.
2. Value Proposition
He will define & push with the Regional
Marketing Director the Regional Value Proposition : offer
positioning, differentiation factors, competition fight, etc.
Build regional marketing plan.
3. Value Creation
He will be the voice of the customer from
region to PL and Regional relay for all Product Marketing
Managers from Transmission & Distribution Product Lines
in order to optimize differentiation factors of new products.
4. Network
The incumbent will promote extensive use of
Smile into the region in order to maximize knowledge sharing
between Region / Central / PL.
5. Go to Market Strategy
He will support the Sales community in assessing
the best channel to market (OEM, Partners, contractors,Design
Institute, etc)
To be eligible for this position, our client
is looking for candidates who possessses a double education
profile with the combination of Business and Technical. Diploma
in Engineering, followed by an MBA or a Master in Management
is ideal. Essentially, the candidate should possess at least
5 to 10 years experience in the Marketing for Transmission
and Distribution or Telecommunication field. The position
requires both strong analytical skills (market, competitions)
and product knowledge background. We will be looking for candidates
who are effective communicators as influencing skills are
important given the matrix organization. Exposure in Multicultural
environment experience is essential.
