  JOB DESCRIPTION Our client is actively searching for a Business Development Engineer (Bangkok, Thailand) to join their team!

The Business Development Engineer will be accountable for customer focus and technical solutions in both O&G & Power industry as well as additional growth in our client portfolio for Growth Hub and Downstream Industry in Thailand.
This position will be based in Bangkok or Rayong. This position is responsible for strengthening our customer relationship with certain predefined accounts in Thailand, by making face to face visits, plant walk downs and developing deep knowledge of installed base in those plants. This role will require willingness to travel about 80% or more of the time.

The responsibilities of this role are:
  • Plant visits and Installed base validation.
  • Self motivated to plan and organize visits to pre defined accounts in Thailand on a weekly basis.
  • Be able to independently create connection and visit appointments with Plant customer.
  • Develop and learn about applications of company interest.
  • Create relationship with new customers and maintain customer satisfaction of existing plant accounts.
  • Develop a mechanism to track the Installed base in every site visit and verify in sales force.
  • Add / update new assets in Sales force.
  • Upload a detailed trip report in Sales force and provide debriefing to the stake holders.
  • Work closely with the local outside sales and Agent network.
  • Communicate & finalize with customer about site problems summary and debrief to the local outside sales and agent.

The ideal candidate will need to have the following qualities and experience:
  • University degree in process control or mechanical engineering.
  • Fresh graduates having 1-2 years of experience with right attitude and willingness to learn are welcome.
  • Discipline to plan and willingness to travel upto 80% of the time to the Plants in Thailand. Be able to plan ahead for current + next month itinerary for plant visits.
  • A strong, confident team player who is able to work with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Trustworthy, open & communicative individual, who is adaptable, stress-tolerant and goaloriented.
  • Self-motivated, positive and enthusiastic, with initiative and drive and a strong sense of urgency in solving problems.
