  JOB DESCRIPTION Our client, a leading in-store media and marketing services provider, is actively searching for a Assistant Manager/ Manager, Events to join their team.
This role is a constructive step forward for anyone looking for excitement and challenges at work.

The responsibilities of this role encompasses:
  • Prospect, qualify and conduct sales pitches.
  • Development, production and delivery of projects from inception, proposal, planning and development right up to delivery and review.
  • Interpreting and developing (as well as documenting) events project briefs.
  • Delivering events on time, within budget, that meet (and hopefully exceed) expectations.
  • Setting, communicating and maintaining timelines and priorities on every project.
  • Communicating, maintaining and developing client relationships.
  • Managing supplier relationships.
  • Managing operational functions to ensure specific projects are delivered efficiently.
  • Providing leadership, motivation, direction and support to the team.
  • Travelling to on-site inspections and project managing events.
  • Being responsible for all project budgets from start to finish.
  • Ensuring excellent customer service and quality delivery.

The ideal candidate will need to have the following qualities and experience: 
  • Min 3 years of events sales experience with proven track records and project management for big brands and corporate is required.
  • Good network/clientele of big brands including but not limited to FMCG, financial or telco sectors.
  • Experience participating and managing tenders.
  • Those with operational or production background will be advantageous.
  • Able to conceptualise, communicate and sell creative ideas.
  • Good communicator and problem solver.
  • Independent, competent in managing project P&L.
  • Results driven and good at hitting deadlines.
  • Multi-tasker who can handle several people and situations simultaneously.
  • Team player and possess lots of initiative.
