The responsibilities of this role are:
  • We are seeking a team member to join our Human Resource Division as the Senior Assistant Manager / Manager for Talent Acquisition. This is a role that will help strengthen our recruitment process, promote our employer brand and build a talent pipeline.  
  • The incumbent is responsible for the recruitment of professionals for the Professionals Officers Division (POD). To be successful in this role, experience in the direct sourcing of professionals in Engineering and Information Technology and in at least one of the following areas; Bio-Chemistry, Food Science & Technology, Health Science and Social Sciences is key. Having good planning and coordination skills, verbal and written communication abilities, and comfort with technical jargons is necessary.
  • Perform end to end sourcing of professionals in the high tech and professional sector.
  • Develop attractive and compliant job postings for open positions
  • Utilize recruiting tools and resources to promote needs and generate active and passive job seekers
  • Maintain thorough documentation in applicants tracking system (ATS) as well as updating of enterprise resource system (ERP)
  • Generate recruiting metric and activity reports as assigned
  • Participate in initiatives and productivity projects
  • Proficient in SAP

The ideal candidate will need to have the following qualities and experience:
  • A University Degree preferably in Engineering, Science or Technology. In lieu of a Degree in these areas, demonstrate a good understanding of the high-tech sector.
  • Four or more years of prior work experience with full lifecycle recruiting.
  • Working knowledge of LinkedIn, Job Boards and ATS applications such as PageUp as well as ERP.
  • Proven ability to source and close passive candidates.
  • Direct sourcing experience in Engineering and Information is necessary, and in at least one of the following areas; Bio-Chemistry, Food Science & Technology, Health Science and Social Sciences.
  • Have good project management skills, attentive to detail, and willing to take on responsibilities
  • Have a positive attitude, excellent interpersonal and rapport-building skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals in a diverse community and possess the confidence to front different parties.
