  JOB DESCRIPTION Our client, a tertiary education institute, is currently looking for a Compensation and Benefits Manager, to join their esteemed organisation!

The roles and responsibilities of this role include:

Overall : 
  • Differentiate the University through innovative and meaningful compensation and benefits that align with our organisation values and talent strategies.
  • Build, sustain and continuously improve all aspects of the University's Total Rewards strategy.
  • Work with Senior Director and Head of C&B on Strategic HR plans and activities.


Compensation:
  • Work with Senior Director and Head of C&B on key annual compensation strategy and priorities.
  • Manage broad-based compensation programs, including job evaluation, market pricing, salary survey response, benchmarking, compensation systems and role description development. This includes development, approval, implementation and on-going maintenance of compensation policies.
  • Managing International Compensation plans for our diverse faculty, research and staff popoulation from over 50 countries
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and Organisational Development Team on compensation strategy and job analysis for various departments and research centers across the university
  • Manage the execution of the University's compensation process (e.g. annual merit review process and bonus payments)

Benefits:
  • Establish strategy and priorities for benefits and continuously evaluate all benefit plans to ensure they are cost effective, competitive, and meet the needs of the organisation and employees.
  • Identify opportunities for changes, including new vendors, plan design and funding.
  • Manage existing benefit programs, making recommendations for modifications based on competitive trends, business needs, and cost.  This includes development, approval, implementation and on-going maintenance of benefits policies.
  • Manage and provide technical expertise and administration for defined benefit and defined contribution retirement plans, including plan compliance activities.

  • Degree in HRM or Business Administration
  • MInimum 5 years of HR and Compensation experience
  • Techinical expertise in Benefit, Compensation and Wellness Program Plan Design and Strategy
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Excellent Team Player
