  JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is actively searching for a Software Engineer to join their team!

The responsibilities of this role are:

• Design, program and debug machine software.
• Troubleshoot software related issues reported by our engineers in the SEA region. 
• Determine software related issues on customers’ machines in the cleanroom.
• Discussions with customers to understand function requirements and design the software accordingly. 
• Collaboration with other departments and affiliate offices in SEA region to resolve customers’ issues.
• Coordination with software team in Japan HQ.
• Travel to Japan and within SEA region is to be expected post-COVID.

The ideal candidate will need to have the following qualities and experience:

• Competence in C, C++, C# language programming.
• Mastery of Microsoft Office suite, especially Powerpoint and Excel.
• Proficiency in Japanese language is an advantage. Alternatively, the successful candidate is expected to learn Japanese.
• Successful candidate will be posted to Japan for 1 to 3 years’ training, after an initial 1 to 2 years’ training in Singapore.
• Potential for future relocation to Japan HQ or affiliate office in SEA region.

S$3,000.00 - S$3,200.00 per Month
