  JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is actively searching for an Assistant Manager, Electrical to join their team!

The responsibilities of this role are:

• Managing the project assigned which includes plan, schedule, conduct and coordinate detailed phases of project execution
• Ensure that projects are complete on time, within budget and with highest quality
• Coordinate with personnel in other departments, client, consultant, vendors, subcontractor personnel to review designs, prepare and execute recovery plans speedily
• Assist Project Manager in the administration of contract, claims disputes, variation and final accounts
• Provide on the job training for new project staff as well monitoring their performance and provide guidance during work execution
• Submit regular management reports on the progress of the timelines and targets
• Responsible for safety compliance on the project assigned and ensure all activities carried out complied with MOM WSHA

The ideal candidate will need to have the following qualities and experience:

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in M&E services.
• Strong hands-on technical experience in electrical works, preferably within a subcontractor or contractor environment.
• Experience in new commercial developments or sports complex projects will be an advantage.
• Good knowledge of relevant codes of practice.
• Familiarity with ISO 9000, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 standards.
• Possess Building Construction Safety Supervisor certification.

• Good technical knowledge in electrical and M&E works.
• Able to work closely with clients, consultants, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage project issues effectively.
• Good communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced project environment.

S$5,500.00 - S$6,000.00 per Month
