  JOB DESCRIPTION Our client is actively searching for an Assistant Director or Senior Manager - Operations - Outpatient Clinics to join their team!

Reporting to the Director (Operations), you will lead the operations of outpatient clinics, driving performance, efficiency, and patient experience across multiple Specialist Outpatient Clinics (SOCs). You will partner closely with HODs, clinicians, clinic managers, nurses, and Patient Service Associates (PSAs) to deliver integrated, high-performing clinic operations, ensuring alignment across workflows, systems, and service delivery standards.

The responsibilities of this role are:
  • Operational Leadership: Oversee end-to-end outpatient clinic operations, ensuring efficient patient flow, optimal resource utilisation, and consistent service standards
  • Performance & Analytics: Drive data-led decision-making through robust reporting, KPIs, and insights to improve productivity, turnaround time, and patient outcomes
  • Project & Transformation Delivery: Lead strategic and operational initiatives (including digital/technology projects), delivering measurable outcomes within tight timelines
  • Systems & Process Integration: Champion system-level thinking to align workflows, platforms, and processes across SOCs and supporting functions
  • People & Stakeholder Management: Lead and develop multidisciplinary teams, while effectively influencing stakeholders across clinical and administrative groups
  • Financial Stewardship: Manage clinic cost centres, ensuring financial discipline, cost optimisation, and alignment to organisational targets

The ideal candidate will need to have the following qualities and experience:
  • Degree in Engineering, Science, or a related discipline, with at least 10 years of relevant experience, including 5 years in managing teams
  • Proven track record in healthcare operations (preferably outpatient setting), with experience managing scale (e.g., multiple clinics, high patient volumes)
  • Strong data analytics capability, with demonstrated ability to translate insights into operational and strategic improvements
  • Experience leading complex projects, including technology or system implementation initiatives
  • Strong systems thinking mindset, with the ability to integrate workflows, people, and technology
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Dynamic and results-driven leader with a strong sense of ownership and service orientation
